🏛️ Governance Framework

1. Board of Directors

The Board of Directors serves as the highest authority in our organisational structure. It comprises independent professionals with diverse technology, development, governance, academia, law, and public policy expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction and long-term vision
  • Approve work plans, budgets, and organisational policies
  • Ensure financial oversight, risk management, and compliance
  • Appoint and evaluate executive leadership
  • Uphold our mission, values, and ethical standards

Board Composition:

  • Chairperson
  • Vice Chairperson
  • Treasurer
  • Secretary
  • Ordinary Directors (3–5 sector experts and partner representatives)

The Board meets quarterly, with additional committee meetings as needed (e.g., Finance & Audit, Ethics & Risk, Programs & Partnerships).

2. Executive Management

Our management team is responsible for implementing our mission and strategy day to day. The Executive Director leads it and comprises senior professionals overseeing programs, technology, partnerships, and operations.

Key Roles Include:

  • Executive Director – Leads the organisation, reports to the Board, and represents EveryByte at the national and global level
  • Director of Technology & Innovation – Oversees platform development, systems architecture, and R&D
  • Director of Strategy & Programs – Manages strategic initiatives and cross-sectoral programs
  • Head of Operations & Compliance – Ensures operational efficiency, financial management, and policy adherence
  • Head of Partnerships – Coordinates engagement with development partners, governments, and funders

This team drives execution, fosters innovation, and ensures alignment with strategic objectives.

3. Technical & Program Advisory Panels

To strengthen our sector-specific expertise and continuous learning, EveryByte Systems may convene advisory panels of thought leaders, technologists, and domain experts.

These panels provide insights on:

  • Emerging trends in digital health, GovTech, and EduTech
  • Global best practices in open-source adoption and digital public goods
  • Cybersecurity, data privacy, and digital trust
  • Innovation ecosystems and human-centred design
